Yin
In Yin, poses are held for long periods of time (3-5 minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, and bones. Benefits from this practice include: increased flexibility, improved circulation, enhanced joint mobility, stress reduction, deep relaxation, emotional awareness, better sleep, and promoting balance within the body’s energy system. Each unique Thrive Yoga teacher’s personal style varies; classes may incorporate slow-flowing warm-up movements, breathwork, and guided meditation.
