Ashley Johnson is a native of Colorado and the founder of Shaping Art, a design business that specializes in healing arts located in Crested Butte, Colorado. She began her career as a freelance user interface designer before shifting her focus to traveling the world with her company, Galaxy Unite, a network for community living and travel. While being a freelance designer, she visited Europe, India, and Asia, and became exposed to yoga and eastern healing practices.
From 2017 and for several years after that, Ashley lived at two retreat centers in Hawaii, where she concentrated on hammock yoga, sound healing, and permaculture. During this period, she developed her healing practice, which included teaching hammock yoga, reiki and learning about quantum healing hypnosis. She later manufactured custom-made yoga hammocks and created essential oils as part of her practice.
Ashley holds both a BA and an MA from Lehigh University. She completed her yoga teacher training at the Crested Butte Community Yoga Co-op, aerial training at Aerial Yoga RX, Circasana, and reiki training at Coreiki.
