LYT Method Workshop Series: Intra-Abdominal Pressure: Creating Lightness
Program Description
LYT Method Workshop Series: Intra-Abdominal Pressure: Creating Lightness
In this workshop, we will dive into the anatomy and mechanics of intra-abdominal pressure, exploring how to regulate it for greater ease and efficiency. Through discussion and embodied practice—including an exploration of the Bandhas—you’ll gain tools to cultivate lightness, strength, and fluidity in your movement. Come experience the freedom of integrated support from within.
The LYT Method, created by Lara Heimann, a licensed physical therapist and yoga teacher, is a movement program that integrates yoga, physical therapy, and functional movement principles to retrain movement patterns, correct postural imbalances, and promote holistic wellness.

Juliet Stillman has been practicing yoga for 30 plus years and been teaching for about 15.
She is passionate about continuing her education and has over 1,000 hours in teacher training credits.
She believes yoga should be a safe practice that supports daily functional life. The goal of every class is to optimize posture and movement patterns in order to find freedom, ease, and longevity of movement.
This in turn creates a cascade of positive effects in all areas of our lives. Her mission is to empower each student through education, to encourage self-study and curiosity, and to model the life of a modern yogi.
