Kundalini Yoga Class to Celebrate the Equinox
Program Description
Kundalini Yoga Class to Celebrate the Equinox
In this class celebrating the autumnal equinox we will focus on the timely themes of transformation and release.
The Kundalini practice integrates our eternal, infinite selves with our bodily, material selves. We will use a combination of pranayama (breathwork), kriyas (dynamic actions for a specific purpose), meditation, and mantras which help direct the mind into positivity.
While we chant a mantra, the subconscious mind releases its garbage—all that we’ve unknowingly accumulated—allowing us to then come into greater presence with ourselves. The intention is to come into union with our essential Selves.
During the practice we are “purified” with both demanding and easeful exercises, relaxation, silent meditation and mantra vocalizations. Come home to yourself with this practice of Kundalini Yoga.

Bailey Hosier
Bailey was raised in Crested Butte. Iyengar Yoga teacher, Brenda Flemming, took her into her classes when she was 11 because she was her daughter’s friend. From then she has practiced many types of yoga, and now Bailey has received a Kundalini Yoga certification. Bailey spends her time traveling, making ceramics, dancing, making music, and doing her best to honor this wonderful life. She feels that Kundalini yoga breathing, mantra, and kriyas help maximize her potential to engage in and enjoy her life and give back to the people she loves.
