Peace of Mind Practice
Program Description
Peace of Mind Practice
Breath • Meditation • Gentle Flow
The Peace of Mind Practice is a nurturing, down-regulating class designed to support mental health, emotional steadiness, and resilience in everyday life. Together we’ll move slowly and intentionally through gentle, mindful yoga, paired with calming breath practices that help settle the nervous system and soften stress in the body. This is the kind of practice that reminds you: you don’t have to “push” to feel better — you can return to center through presence, breath, and simplicity.
We’ll begin with grounding breathwork to ease anxiety, steady the mind, and create space inside. From there, you’ll be guided through a gentle flow focused on releasing tension, improving circulation, and reconnecting with the supportive strength beneath you. We’ll close with a short meditation to integrate the practice and leave you feeling clearer, calmer, and more anchored from within.
This class is accessible for most bodies and experience levels. Come exactly as you are — tender, tired, full, or overwhelmed — and let this be an hour of coming home to yourself.
Offered as a donation-based class, benefiting CB State of Mind.

Monica Mesa Dasi
Monica Mesa Dasi is a Tantra love and intimacy coach, devoted Bhakti yogini, and longtime teacher of yoga and the sacred arts. For over four decades, yoga has been her path, and for more than 30 years she guided the Crested Butte community as a dedicated teacher, studio founder, and heart-centered presence in the valley.
Rooted in the power of practice and the devotional path of coming home to the body, Monica’s work weaves yoga, breath, mantra, meditation, and living Tantra into a grounded, heart-led experience. Her signature offering, Tantra Yoga Sadhana, is a living transmission that integrates body, heart, and spirit—inviting students into embodied self-love, awakened sensuality, conscious relationship, and love as a spiritual path.
Now based in Costa Rica—though Crested Butte will always feel like home—Monica continues to guide women, men, and couples into deeper intimacy with themselves and with life. Everything she shares flows from lived devotion, including the immeasurable love and loss of her son Cheyne, one of her greatest teachers. That passage has deepened her compassion, her presence, and her unwavering commitment to love as a healing force.
Her invitation is simple: let your practice become your path. Return to your radiance. Live as who you truly are—rooted in self-love, awake in your body, and devoted to embodying love as a transformative force in the world.
