Restorative Yoga Benefit Class to support Mountain Roots Holiday Feed a Family Initiative
Program Description
Restorative Yoga Benefit Class to support Mountain Roots Holiday Feed a Family Initiative
Mountain Roots is kicking off their Holiday Feed a Family Initiative, aiming to distribute 200 boxes of healthy, locally sourced ingredients—each providing an entire holiday meal for families in need during both Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks.
Join Thrive Yoga CB for a donation-based class to support this initiative! Kait will lead her signature Reiki & Restore class, accessible to all!
Restorative Yoga is a very relaxed practice which utilizes props to support, open and create ease in the body. A totally rejuvenating practice comprised of seated postures and supported inversions, which are held for longer periods of time to allow for deep relaxation in the postures.
Throughout the class, Kait will ask, with each pose, if you would like hands on with Reiki; think soft, gentle, supported, nurturing and peaceful aid for allowing a deeper inner experience in class.
All proceeds will benefit Mountain Roots Holiday Feed a Family Initiative

Kaitlin is a 250hr RYT Yoga Instructor and Energetic Practitioner - Reiki 1 & 2 Usui, Shamanic and Lightening Attuned. She is so grateful to circle back home to the Gunnison valley. Kaitlin lives from her heart and that is what brought her back. She lived in Gunnison from 2017-2020. Since then she has lived in New Hampshire and Massachuesetts, where her focus was education, healing and having her work come from a heart centered place. Kaitlin loves teaching and learning; she finds them both so valuable in her life. She enjoys nature, the elements, her dogs, staying active and hanging on the hammock to meditate or read. Kaitllin's classes are intuitively led both in sequencing and dharma, and every class is unique to the day, season, moon and energetics of the room and what is needed. She was originally drawn to Yoga and Energy work as her early years were filled with immense trauma and she had not found any healing ease or relief through western medicine. These experiences have brought her understanding and wisdom that she now gets to share with the communities she lives in. Kaitlin is currently training as a Medicine Woman and is eager to get her EMT training, to bridge Western and Eastern Medicine, for a total tool belt to help her community.
