Breathwork Journey
Come experience the power of the breath through this active breathing meditation. Breathwork is a tremendous way of activating energy throughout the body, shifting the chemistry, and releasing hormones that bring you into a deep meditative state. This allows stuck energy like stress, grief, and sadness to dislodge from where it’s stored in your body and unconscious. That release brings incredible relief to your entire being and typically leads to great revelations, insights, and helpful messages that come through your consciousness. It feels like a big energetic cleanse!
During this simple 3-part breathwork, we’ll be laying down and fully relaxed with eye pillows and blankets. We’ll start with setting intentions as we connect with the group before we move into our breathing journey.
You’ll leave feeling lighter in your body, clearer in your mind, and more connected to yourself.
What to wear and bring:
- Comfy warm clothes
- Water
Optional:
- A special item to dedicate your experience to or to cleanse during our ceremony: a piece from nature, a piece of jewelry, a photo, etc. Anything goes!
- Eye pillow
- Journal and pen to jot down and integrate your experience

Keela Gendron
Keela grew up in Vermont and discovered yoga in 2006 while attending college in Chicago, where it serendipitously shifted her physical, mental and spiritual health. In 2016 she pursued a 200-hour Integrated Vinyasa Teacher Training with the Colorado School of Yoga while living in Gunnison. Each of her classes follows a cohesive storyline. They blend challenge and ease, flow and alignment, philosophy and science all woven together through conscious breath and music, to help students rebalance their energy and experience a healthy introspective state. Students can expect to explore different styles of breathwork, peak poses, mental health techniques and aromatherapy.
